Day 2 of Shoveling...
So the weatherman lied to us. Again. And instead of mid 50's with lots
of sun, we found ourselves armed with shovels ready to tackle our field
for the second day in a row.
Our field is looking better though!
Niko and Lotus even came to help us shovel!
And to end the chilly day, we were rewarded with pizza and the special treat of not having to do our scheduled lifting and conditioning!

A Snowy Softball Day
You see, we are supposed to be hosting our first games of the season in three days. That means we have a lot of work on the field ahead of us. Today, we shoveled....
Psyched about shoveling |
Shoveling is a rite of passage if you play softball in Colorado. It has become expected that at least once per season, we will need to shovel our field. That does not mean it makes it any easier-or any warmer. But being able to play outside on our field is definitely worth the hours of shoveling!
Making some progress... |
Hopefully we will be able to play on Friday! |
It was her first time shoveling snow! |

Getting back into the swing of things....
Hey Fans of Regis Softball!
Today marked the one week anniversary since many of us came back to beautiful Colorado from winter break. We had our first official week of practice, and our first official week of classes. It's crazy week, but it will be nothing compared to the fast pace of the season.
This fall, the team succeeded on the field and in the classroom. We had many scrimmages that showed great potential for good things to come, and our team GPA was a combined 3.3!
We have our first official games a week from this Friday, which is very exciting for us! The forecast shows a lot of sun and warm weather, so hopefully these games won't get cancelled.
For now, another week of classes and practice awaits us!
